A letter from the Black Knight Rovers. It was brought up at our Scouters Club that a lot of people are homeless in Haiti and living in make shift shelters of cardboard and plastic. Ruth Teal has been in contact with a trucking company in Richmond Hill who have agreed to ship tents and other equipment to Haiti. 1st Bradford is donating 12 tents that we are no longer using. Any tent (even ripped tents) are better protection than plastic or cardboard. Maybe you could pass the word to other areas that donations of tents or tarps would be appreciated. They can contact Ruth Teal if they have any of these. Earle Belfry Group Commissioner/Registrar 1st Bradford Group Scouts Canada (705) 431-4291 E-Mail: ebelfry@bell.net Attachments:
